Under the general supervision of the Distribution Center Manager, the Distribution Administrator is directly responsible for the day to day shipping and receiving operation, merchandise QC, coordinating logistics and transportation, reporting and processing import and export documentation, working with vendors and suppliers and maintaining adequate supply levels.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Merchandise receiving, special orders, QC, ticketing and put away process.
  • Process outbound shipping (pick, pack and box closing) on shipping days.
  • Responsible for adhering to strict shipping and delivery schedules.
  • Works with merchandising and retail to coordinate product recalls, redistribution and intercompany transfer of products.
  • Prepare and conduct monthly counts and year end physical inventory.
  • Responsible for shrink control and maintaining the integrity of the DC inventory.
  • Process stock repair and support retail price certificate process.
  • Process diamond trade-in and breakouts.
  • Review and confirm export documentation.
  • Coordinates and schedule shipments with freight forwards and broker.
  • Support the retail stores with the day to day activity.

Requirements:

  • College Degree
  • 2 years of experience in Distribution Center Operation.
